Brief:
An Ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 30,139 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance providing an Operating Budget of Revenues for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2025” to appropriate a portion of the Savings Fund of the City of New Orleans-also known as the “Reserve Fund”-to the New Orleans Police Department to cover ongoing personnel expenses based on a determination by the Council that a significant loss in city revenues due to an economic downturn of serious proportions has occurred or is occurring; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.
