Brief:
In celebration of recently retired New Orleans Saints player Tyrann Mathieu for his contributions to the City of New Orleans-both on and off the field. Over the course of 12 NFL seasons, Mathieu won a Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs and played three seasons with the New Orleans Saints. He began his football career as a standout athlete at St. Augustine High School and Louisiana State University, where he earned the nickname “Honey Badger” for his aggressive play and ability to force turnovers. Mathieu’s legacy includes his commitment to youth mentorship, community service, and representing New Orleans with pride throughout his career.
