Title: CAL. NO. 35,414 - BY: COUNCILMEMBERS HARRIS (BY REQUEST) AND MCCARRON Brief: An Ordinance to authorize the Mayor of the City of New Orleans to enter into a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement, Lease of Land, and Act of Donation between the City of New Orleans (the “City”) and Mercy Partners, LLC (“Mercy Partners”), for the public purpose of constructing water retention infrastructure at the site formerly known as Lindy Boggs Medical Center (the “Site”) for the benefit of the water, sewer, and drainage infrastructure for the City of New Orleans, and in turn the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens in the City of New Orleans, and related activities, as more fully detailed in the Cooperative Endeavor Agreement form as Exhibit “A”, the Lease of Land form as Exhibit “B”, and the Act of Donation form as Exhibit “C”; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.
