Brief:
An Ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 30531 M.C.S., as amended, entitled “An Ordinance Providing an Operating Budget of Expenditures for the City of New Orleans for the Year 2026”, to appropriate additional funds to the Housing Trust Fund to satisfy the funding requirement in accordance with Section 6-201(2)(d) of the City Charter, which provides that an amount equal to not less than two percent (2%) of the annual General Fund operating budget shall be appropriated and used exclusively to ensure the availability of affordable housing for low-to-moderate-income residents of the City; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.
